As reported by the Property Industry Eye and The Negotiator in recent days Danny Zane has stepped down as chair of the Association of Independent Inventory Clerks following a 4 year term, and Daniel Evans of Home Inventories steps up at the interim chair.
Zane made considerable strides forwards in raising the status of independent, unbiased property inventory reports among organisations. He also influenced policy decisions within the property sector, The Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government.
He steps down as chair of the AIIC to spend more time with his family and commented:
“It is with a heavy heart that I step down after 4 dedicated years, I feel now is a good time to hand over to our strong board with acting chair, Daniel Evans of Home Inventories.”
As Managing Director of Home Inventories Daniel was already a member of the board for the past 2 years. His team of inventory clerks are already raising the bar for professional excellence across London and the South East Counties in which they operate. They are also among a few operators producing best practice reports according to Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) guidelines.
He added “Daniel is highly capable and has relationships in all the right places. He will carry us forward with a new strong path ahead, during what can only be deemed as tough times for our country.”
